Tips to Get Started Not sure how to get started? Use these tips for sharing HBCU Today with your friends, family, business associates, and local community members: HBCU Today is really a gift…a gift of knowledge! Your friends, co-workers, and associates—that is, adults— will not need HBCU Today, but they can help those young people contemplating college be more aware of the continued relevance and significance of an education at an HBCU. Therefore, each friend, family member, co-worker, or associate represents an opportunity to have a book—or several books—purchased to give to as a “gift of knowledge.” Every organization, school, or church most likely works with some type of youth group. Businesses and organizations can participate in our effort to enhance awareness of the cultural and educational opportunities offered at our nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities by purchasing and distributing 100 or more books into the hands of youth who need to better understand that our HBCUs are viable choices for secondary and post-secondary education. There is no better corporate cause than helping with the educational crisis our country is now experiencing—and no better gift than a “gift of knowledge.” There are so many ways to share HBCU Today and benefit from the marketing of what is the most comprehensive resource guide available today on HBCUs.
